• This is the Double Sweet Potato ocarina in the key of Alto C made by Focalink. It features two chambers and offers 17 chromatic notes from A to high C. The instruments are finely tuned for clarity and pitch and is crafted using a unique straw firing process that results in beautiful earth tone colors throughout.
• Straw fire involves placing a kiln-fired ocarina in a fire-proof container and firing it again with combustible straw to create organic designs and rich woodsy color on the surface. The ocarina is then polished with an organic lacquer derived from specific trees, thinned with camphor oil. A few individuals have reported allergic reactions to the Straw Fired ocarinas, particularly to the lacquer or camphor oil. If you suspect allergies, please select a different ocarina.
• All instruments are finely tuned for clarity and pitch and utilize the unique straw firing process for earth tone colors. A lacquer is also added for richness in color. Each ocarina is one-of-a-kind due to the handcrafted process. Also included is a specially designed light weight ocarina hard-shell case providing maximum protection, even when intentionally dropped.
